Roger and I had a special relationship.  He would call me from outside the office to come out and pick up his rent check.  He always had a smile on his face.  Over the past year I was fortunate enough to be included in the every other Saturday Texas Hold 'Em game here in the Akron Mobile Home Park.  The last time we played I went all in on Roger in heads up.  As all his poker buddies know, he had no fear, he wanted to see that river.  Of course as luck would have it Roger turned a full house on the river and took first place for our night's tournament.  He bragged about it all week.  I really loved that man and will miss him deeply.  I'll see you on the river Roger, take care.

I've known Roger for the past several years through the Newstead Senior Center. We played cards and bingo together. He really loved his card playing, both Euchre and Texas Hold'em poker. Myself and few of his other buddies from the center and the park would get together on Saturday evenings to play Texas Hold'em at his house. He loved the competition and the company. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. I wish to extend my most sincere condolences to his family and pray that the Lord provide them with the strength and courage to face the sad days ahead. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
