Elsie M. Schultz

Elsie Schultz, 80 of Akron, on December 17, 2016. Born on May 22, 1936 in Allegany, NY to the late Arnold and Rita (Gerringer) Salmonson.

Elsie earned her Nursing Degree and worked as a surgical nurse under Dr. Wells at Millard Filmore Suburban Hospital. She met Wayne E. Schultz and they married in 1964 and raised four children together. Elsie was an active member of The First United Methodist Church of Akron. She loved sewing, cooking, and reading. She was an avid Bills fan and enjoyed dining out. She especially loved the Olive Garden and Alex's in Batavia.

Beloved wife of Wayne E. Schultz; cherished mother of Deborah(Rodney)Sprang, Raymond (Cheryl Curran) Schultz, Eric (Donna Powell) Schultz and Dawn (Michael) Farias. Loving grandmother of Katie, Jacob, and Emily Sprang; Megan and Parker Schultz; Gabrielle and Allexandra Farias. Two brothers, Robert (Barbara) Salmonson and Richard Salmonson also survive her.

Friends and relatives may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Avenue where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
