David Johnson died on September 15, 2016. He was born in Ohsweken, Ontario on November 8, 1945 to the late Victor and Anne (Favorite) Johnson.
David was born in the Six Nations and was a member of the Turtle Clan. He was a three sport athlete competing in football, basketball, and baseball much of his childhood years. After high school, he worked at Ward Hydraulic and Strippit of Akron as a machinist and later drove a truck for Bluebird and Hazmat. He enjoyed watching all sports and was an avid Yankees, Sabres, and Dale Earnhardt fan.
He is survived by two sons, David (Kathy) Johnson of Delaware, Richard Johnson of Akron; two daughters, Christine (Rick) Amico of Alexander and Amanda (Phil) Adams of Fairport. David is also survived by a brother, Robert (Linda) Johnson of Akron; a sister, Lynda Henry of Hamburg; four grandchildren, Stephanie Hamme, Devan Battin, Ricky Amico, Trinity Amico; and one great grandchild, Emmah Hamme.
