Timothy Jones Jr., went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2020. He was born in Basom, New York on June 13, 1932 to the late Timothy Sr. and Anna (Sundown) Ground.
He attended the Thomas Indian School and was a member of the Turtle Clan. Timothy married his late wife, Karen Parker on July 27, 1952. He worked for Strippit for over 36 years as a machinist, retiring in 1996. He loved farming and usually carried 30 to 40 beef cows at a time. He was also a Deputy Marshall on the reservation, when he was younger. He loved playing horseshoes and especially enjoyed lacrosse and the solace of fishing.
Timothy is survived by three children, Tom (Rhonda) Jones and Kayleen (Duane) Abrams, Venessa Jones; a sister, Janet Jones; fifteen grandchildren, Erica, Jesse, Lisa, Rachael, Kyle, Shannon, Karlie, Ivan, Colton, Ardana, Samantha, Henryetta, Terrell, Kevin, Kasey and Alex. He is also survived by twenty-four great- grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, L. Karen Parker; three sons, David Jones, Al Jones, and Stanley (Skip) Jones.
