Thomas (Tom) Patrick Muck, entered into rest on December 28, 2022. He was born in Buffalo, NY on February 22, 1943, to the late Walter and Mary Elizabeth - Betty (Rooney) Muck.
A graduate of Seneca Vocational High School in 1961, Tom honorably served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Niagara Machine in Buffalo from 1962 until his retirement in 1999. After retiring, he worked as a temp rerouting stock at American Sales Company from 2001 to 2005. Tom enjoyed spending time with his friends, and family, following politics, and working on his yard. In his early years Tom enjoyed traveling as well. His hobbies included, listening to music, reading, communicating with friends through Facebook, and watching documentaries about history. Tom enjoyed anything to do with the civil war and was a collector of civil war trinkets, beer steins, and nautical items. He loved playing games on Xbox Live, his favorites were Halo and GTA. He always enjoyed the time he spent with family, seldom missing a family function. He always made time for his great nieces and nephews and was a well-loved uncle. Tom was a patriot and loved this country.
Tom is predeceased by his sister, Karen (late Terry) Thomas; brother of James (Linda) Muck; dear uncle of 3 generations of nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives may call on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 5 to 8 PM at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC., 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY 14001 where a Funeral Service will follow at 8 PM. A Burial with Military Honors will take place on Friday, January 6th at 11 AM at the Western New York National Cemetery. Charitable contributions may be made in Tom's memory to a Veteran's organization of one’s choice.
