Thomas Thayer

Thomas W. Thayer passed away on April 11, 2020. He was born in Mountain View, California on August 4, 1995 to Thomas Thayer and Margaret (Fish) Thayer. His primary residence for the past twenty years has been in Arizona.

Thomas graduated from Arbor View High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended  Northern Arizona University with a goal of a degree in social work and counseling. Tom especially enjoyed his volunteer activities with the Oxford House in Prescott Valley, Arizona during the past year. Family and friends remember Tommy for his outgoing personality, thoughtfulness,  and his varied interests and knowledge. 

Tom is survived by his loving mother, Margaret (David Zirhut) Thayer; father, Thomas Thayer; brother, David Thayer; grandmother, Beverly Fish; two aunts, Marilyn (William Stiefel) Fish and Marcia Fish, cousins, and many friends.

A Celebration of Life was held in Cave Creek, Arizona on June 6, 2020 attended by Tommy's  Arizona friends. Tom will be laid to rest at St. Teresa's Cemetery in Akron in a private remembrance next to his grandfather David Fish. Family and friends contributed to the Oxford House in Prescott Valley, Arizona in memory of Tommy.
