Terry L. Carnes

Terry L. Carnes, entered into rest on June 10, 2023. He was born on June 24, 1957, in Hornell, NY to the late Donald and June (Matteson) Carnes.

Terry was a skilled mechanic, dedicating his career to automotive and farm equipment repair. Terry's passion extended beyond his profession, as he was an avid billiard player and spent many enjoyable hours playing pool with friends. He also had a talent for building model planes and cars with motors, creating intricate and functional works of art.

Terry is survived by his brother, Donald (Nancy) Carnes; his daughter, Jamie Carnes; and his brother in law, Kenneth Allen. He is also survived by several grandchildren, many nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends who he considered family. He is preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Allen.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, located at 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY, 14001. Friends and loved ones are encouraged to come and share their memories of Terry and celebrate his life.
