Susan Marie (Pagels) Doll

Susan Marie (Pagels) Doll, born on September 18th, 1963, at Rhein-Main Air Base in Germany to William (late Sharon) Pagels and Patricia McCrea, passed away peacefully on October 17th, 2025 after a nine month battle with cancer. 

Susan grew up in Corfu, NY, where she graduated from Pembroke High School in 1981. She earned her associate's degree in fashion merchandising from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, VA and her bachelor's degree in marketing management from SUNY Empire College in Buffalo, NY. 

Affectionately known as “Sue-Z-Q,” Susan was truly the "hostess with the mostest" and did eveything with an impeccable sense of style, grace, and humor. She was also a former member of ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Towards Education) and enjoyed countless motorcycle rides to the Adirondacks.

She is survived by her two children, Aric J. Doll and Audralee A. Doll (Maximillian Falkowski) as well as five grandchildren (Ryleigh, Eli, Layla, Jack, James) with another on the way in just a few weeks. 

Susan was loved by many siblings to include Kim (late Vyarl) Martin, Theresa (Kurt) Neibacher, Kathryn (late Brian) Cleveland, William “Rick” (Alma) Pagels and step-siblings, Michelle (Dan) Wojewoda, Robert LaPort, and predeceased by Andrea Sawtell. Susan was also cherished by many friends and family, including her “nieces she loved to pieces”. 

To match her spirit of being the life of the party, a celebration of life will be held for Susan on Sunday, October 26th, from 12-3 at the Pembroke Community Center, 116 Main Street, Corfu, NY 14036. Donations can be made in Susan's memory to Crossroads House in Batavia, NY.
