Obituary

Samuel E. Pierce, of Lockport, went home to be with his Lord on March 2, 2022. He was born in Royalton, New York on July 14, 1936 to the late Fred and Elinor (Dible) Pierce.

Sam was a graduate of Royhart High School and worked most of his life as an oiler for Harrison Radiator. He was happily married to the late Barbara (Kaufman, 2020) for over 63 years. He was a proud U.A.W. member for over 42 years and a former Jaycee. Sam was an avid NASCAR fan.

Loving father of Michael (Bonnie) Pierce and Kevin Pierce; cherished grandfather of Stephanie and Brittany Pierce; beloved brother of David (Laural) Pierce and the late Pat Coon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday March 6, 2022 from 3-6 PM at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY. where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 1 PM.
