Rose Ann Faxlanger Obituary

Rose Ann Faxlanger, age 86, of Williamsville, New York, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025. She was born on February 15, 1939, in Buffalo, New York, to the late Salvatore and Josephine (Carbone) Culmo.  Rose Ann was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Rose Ann was widowed from her husband of 65 years, Robert Faxlanger, who preceded her in death in 2023.

Rose Ann was a faithful employee of the Clarence Central School District, where she served as an Attendance Clerk until her retirement. She was known for her commitment to her work and the positive impact she had on the students she encountered. After Rose Ann’s retirement, she worked in sales at Sofas and Chairs.  In her leisure time, Rose Ann enjoyed reading and attending Bible Study. She was also an active member of a women's prayer group.  Rose Ann and her late husband, Robert, were actively involved in Marriage Encounter and Teams of Our Lady for several years. They formed many long-lasting, loving friendships through these groups. One of Rose Ann’s favorite pastimes was enjoying the company of family and friends out on her patio in the summer along with her dog Molly.

Rose Ann is survived by her loving children, Joseph (Barbara) and Thomas (Mary Beth) Faxlanger, and Susan (Daniel) Farley. She was a cherished grandmother to Lisa (Jon) Fellinger and Kelly and Tricia Faxlanger, Elizabeth and Erin Faxlanger, and Alexander and Nicholas Farley; and a proud great-grandmother to Logan Fellinger. Rose Ann is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Concetta Reynders.
