Richard P. Borden

Borden - Richard P. (Tiny) Age 81 of Akron, NY. passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 27th, 2026. Born on September 21, 1944 to the late Eugene and Anne (Nickel) Borden.

He is survived by his daughter Deanna (Keith Graff) Borden; His son Steven Borden; Sister Pat (Jack) Story; Brother Warren Folger; Nephews Gene Story and Troy(Jill) Story; Granddaughters Danyelle Borden and Brittany (Nick) Berst; Great-Grandchildren Jayila, Abryanna, Justin, and Ayden. Richard is predeceased by his niece Annette Story Rivera; Brothers Jim, Skip, Foot, and Pizza; Sisters Maria, Tracey, and Sandy.

Tiny was a dedicated truck driver for Hazmat for over 20 years. His hobbies included hunting, Garfield the cat, and riding his beloved motorcycle. He loved and adored his cat Stinky (now deceased) and Izzy. His friends and family meant the world to him and he cherished them all deeply.

Family and friends are invited to The Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints at 127 William Kidder Rd., Lancaster, NY, 14086, where we will honor Tiny with a small ceremony followed by a luncheon on March 21st, 2026 at 1pm.
