Ralph Wellington Gabbey, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 10, 2020. He was born in Pembroke, New York on April 14, 1931 to the late William and Grace (Fuller) Gabbey.
Ralph honorably served his country in the United States Army. He married Rose Marie Eberth on August 30,1958 and they had two children. He was a member of the Pembroke Fire Company for over 25 years. He enjoyed gambling, fixing things, and tinkering around the house. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Loving husband of Rose Marie Gabbey; cherished father of John (Jan) Gabbey and Lisa (Glenn) Melo; beloved brother of James (Christine) Gabbey; proud grandfather of John, Joshua, Jacqueline, and eight great-grandchildren; Ralph is also survived by a sister-in-law. Barbara Gabbey and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings, Leslie (Joyce) Gabbey Lois (Edward) Ertel, Margery (Edward) Dudek, and Richard Gabbey.
Arrangements by Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC. Friends and relatives are invited to a Burial with Military Honors at the Western New York National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd., Corfu, NY on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 11 AM.
