Patsy Winter Obituary

Patsy Winter, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family early Monday morning April 3, 2023. She was born in Batavia, NY on October 21, 1950 to the late James Walter and Gloria Faye (Charles) Dean.

Patsy was a proud member of the Wolf clan and a 1968 graduate of Akron Central School. She went on to continue her education at North Idaho College. After college she spent some time in California working on keyboards for Xerox. She enjoyed watching birds, especially cardinals and eagles. Flowers brought her much joy, especially lavender. She had a great love of Jesus and an unwavering faith.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband, Floyd William Winter Jr.; her children, Khristie Poodry, Coreen (Daniel) Esplin, Jeremiah (Allison) Winter and Fallan (James) Crooks; 16 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Robert (Nancy) Dean, Brian (Terri) Dean and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she is predeceased by a brother, James Dean.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, with a Funeral Service following promptly at 1:00 PM at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY14001.
