Pamela Neuroth, 77, of Akron, passed into eternal life on February 19, 2026, following a short but complicated illness. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Pam lived a life defined by compassion, quiet strength, independence, and a deep love for her family and close friends. Pam was born on March 15, 1948, in Batavia to the late Frank and Dolores Dulak.
She was a graduate of Alden High School and the beloved wife of the late Lee Neuroth. She is survived by her children: her son Allen; her daughter, Christine Neilon and her husband Michael of Pennsylvania; and her son Daniel and his wife Joan. She is also survived by her five cherished grandchildren: Connor and Riley Neilon, and Preston, Theodore, and Kaylee Neuroth.
Up until her passing, Pam worked as an executive assistant for the Erie County Farm Bureau. She was happiest when spending time with family and friends. She loved her bowling leagues and the card games she enjoyed several times a week with close friends. Pam was an active member of her church and the Alden Seniors. She enjoyed traveling with friends and visiting family. In the 1980s, Pam served as a Girl Scout leader, a role that blossomed into lifelong friendships with fellow leaders who continued their cherished annual “Girls’ Weekend.” Her family extends heartfelt thanks to those who continue to organize this special tradition — it was something she looked forward to every year.
Pam’s family is especially grateful to her neighbors at the Westgate Apartments, whose kindness meant so much to her in recent years — brushing off her car, shoveling her walk, and picking up her mail. Akron was truly her home, where longtime friends she considered family continued to visit her. We are eternally grateful that she had a place she loved so deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a light brunch to follow, at The Sterling at Arrowhead, 12292 Clarence Center Road, Akron. Friends and family are warmly invited to share in Pamela’s life celebration.
