Norman B. Heiman, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020. He was born in Buffalo, New York on March 1, 1938 to the late Norman F. and Jessie (Geddes) Heiman.
Norman was a life-long resident of Akron; where he ran the 4 Generation Dairy Farm and was a sales representative for Pioneer Seed for many years. He married his late wife Irene (Schurr) on September 16, 1961, together they raised two children. Bruce was a member of the Western New York 2-Cylinder Club and the Steam Engine Association. His life revolved around his family’s farm and family.
Norm is survived by his beloved children; Norman Bruce Heiman II of Akron and Christina (John W. Fleck) Heiman of Colden. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Rosemarie (late Doug) Heiman; his faithful dog Blackie, and several nieces and nephews.
He will be laid to rest at the Mount Olive Cemetery in Newstead on Thursday, April 16, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC.
