Milton M. Martin, fondly known as "Pete" left us on March 9, 2024. He was born on February 21, 1931 in Clarence Center, NY to the late Emerson and Nina Faye (Brown) Martin.
Pete married the late Gladys (Davis) Martin in 1953 and they had four children and built a wonderful life together. In 1969, Pete undertook a four-month mission project in Africa, a testament to his commitment to service and the work of God. He was a man of many passions, among which hunting and fishing were his favorite pastimes. These hobbies were not just about the thrill of the chase for him, but also about the tranquility and wisdom he found in nature. Milton's family was his pride and joy. His love and commitment to them were immeasurable.
He is survived by his children, Louis (Elizabeth) Martin, Beverly (late Guy) Myers, Julie (Lawrence) Lewis, and Russell (Sharica) Martin; his siblings Lester Martin, Arlene Martin, and Leona Yoder; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. His legacy also lives on through many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Gladys (Davis) Martin, Milton is predeceased by his siblings Emory, Leroy, Wilbur, Maxine Mast, Clayton, and Joan (aka Ardys) Martin.
