Milton Kanehl

Milton Kanehl, of Akron, NY entered into rest on May 23, 2018. He was born in Buffalo, NY on August 18,1934.

Milton graduated from Clarence High School in 1955 and married his late wife of over 45 years Shirley (Smith) Kanehl. Milton worked for over 30 years at US Gypsum in Akron and then followed his passion for farming. He loved working on tractors, making wood, hunting, and fishing; but his greatest passion was farming.

Beloved father of Tim Kanehl, Dennis Kanehl, and Darren (Charlene) Kanehl. Cherished grandfather of 1 grandchild, Kelsey, and 2 great grandchildren. Besides his wife, Milton was predeceased by a son, Gary; two brothers and a sister.

Friends and relatives may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 25, at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron where a Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 26.
