Michael Earl Ribbeck

Michael Earl Ribbeck, known to many as Mike, passed away on June 2, 2024, just shy of his 72nd birthday. He was born on June 24, 1952, in Lockport, NY to the late Earl and Marian Ribbeck.

In 1972, he married the love of his life, Susan, and together they built a life in Akron, NY filled with joy, love, and laughter. Michael had a long and fulfilling career in transportation as a truck driver. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his job. He enjoyed hunting, farming and baseball. But his greatest joy was found in his family, as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Beloved husband of Susan Ribbeck; loving father of Connie (Kevin) Ribbeck and Russell ( Lori) Ribbeck; cherished grandfather of 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Diane (Larry) Cummings, Virginia (late Albert) Stifter, Marlene (late Gary) Rosenberg, Douglas (Pamela) Ribbeck and Bonnie (William) Wellington. Mike is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Michael will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC., 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY, 14001 where a Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
