Beloved husband of Paula (Stepnick); devoted father of Joseph (Jaclyn) and Johnathan (Crystal); proud “Boompa” of Levi, Jacob, and Lillian. Also survived by his parents, Donald and Barbara Long; sister, Suzanne (Charles) Vesper; brother, Brian (Lori) Long; brother-in-law, David Stepnick; sister-in-law, Diane (Jeffrey) Heim and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends received at Ross Funeral Home Akron, LLC. Thursday Feb 8, 2024. Visitation from 3-6 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
