Michael M. Koegl

Michael Koegl of Basom, passed away on September 5, 2021. He was born in Buffalo, New York on July 15,1957 to the late Carl and Florence (Ohlson) Koegl.

Michael honorably served our country in the United States Army. He worked many odd jobs for most of his life, most recently at 49 Express Pit Stop. He enjoyed watching birds and especially loved trains and steam engines.

Loving father of Shawn Koegl; cherished brother of Kenny (Sandy) Koegl and Carl (Beverly) Koegl. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Michael is predeceased by a sister, Terry Koegl.

Friends and relatives may call on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 4 to 6 pm at Ross Funeral Home of Akron LLC, 10 Eckerson Ave. A Graveside Service with Military Honors wiil take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Western New York National Cemetery in Corfu.
