Mary Kay Roberts

Mary Kay Roberts of Akron, New York, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025. Born in Sloan, NY, on April 1, 1952, Mary Kay lived a vibrant life filled with love for her family and an unwavering dedication to her work at Whiting Door. Mary Kay enjoyed cats, movies, her favorite TV shows and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Betty Roberts, her siblings Jack Roberts, Donald (Stephanie) Roberts and Eileen (Vern) Hornquist.

Mary Kay is survived by her son, Sean (Ashley) Roberts along with her grandchildren Ashley and Justin Roberts. She is also survived by her nephews, Lance, Kirk, and Michael Roberts and Josh and Shane Hornquist. Along with her long-time friends Jim Kozlowski and Cheryl Slocum as well as Lee, Gail, and Judy.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, at 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10AM-1PM. The funeral service will be held at the same location immediately after, following the service, Mary Kay will be laid to rest at Marilla Cemetery at 2pm.
