Mary Clementine (Cheavacci) Snell

Mary Clementine Cheavacci Snell, age 99, entered into rest on April 8, 2020. She was born on August 12, 1920 in Akron, New York to the late Leopold and Paulina (Pisanechi) Cheavacci.

Beloved mother of Joanne (Craig) Jones and Rosanne (Michael) Best; cherished grandmother of Cord Jones, Mary Anne (John) Rogers, Chris (Kris) Jones, Holly (Eric) Cebulski, Heather (Todd) Maier. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her brothers, Corado Cheavacci, Army Cheavacci, Daniel Cheavacci, Victor Cheavacci and a sister Lydia Cheavacci Stone.

Mary was a 1939 graduate of Akron Central High School. She was married for over 60 years to the late Marvin E. Snell (2003). She worked from home as a seamstress and in her spare time the artist in her enjoyed drawing and painting.  She loved to share her philosophy of life with her family and believed everyone should dance more.

A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date.
