Marvin Ray Shrock, affectionately known as Marv, passed away on June 13, 2024. He was born on April 28th, 1933 in Akron, NY to the late Samuel And Violetta (Albright) Shrock.
Marv was a lifelong resident of Akron and spent his early years on the Maple Road Farm, where he developed a love for the simplicity and hard work of farming. A dedicated truck driver by profession, Marv received an award for driving one million miles without any accidents, a testament to his commitment to safety and excellence. His love for the open road extended to his personal life as well, often seen riding his motorcycle, wind in his hair, and a big grin on his face. Fishing was another pastime he deeply cherished, finding solace and joy in the tranquility it offered.
He was the cherished father of Terry (Domon) Shrock, Randy Shrock, Ricky (Sybille) Shrock, Ronnie (Dodie) Shrock, and Tracey (Olszenski) Shrock. Marvin was a proud grandfather of Christine, late John, Renee (Chad), Russell, Steven (Claire), Mark, Ronnie, Jr. (Leah) David, Jr. (Brittany), Tristan, Trey, Madson, McKenliegh, Laney, Levi, Charlotte, Lou, Hayley, Jean, Raegan, Beverly. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Shrock.
Visitation for Marvin will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at High Point Church, 1163 Main Street, Corfu, NY, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM.
