Mark was a jack of all trades and a good handyman who found joy in hunting, camping, spending time with friends, and doting on his grand-dogs. Mark was a proud serviceman, having served in the US Army from 1984-1986 and was a member of the Scio, Ohio American Legion Post 482.

Mark is survived by his wife, Melissa Bruning; children Tyler (Carina) Bruning, Raymond (Erica) Richards and Ryan (Erin) Richards; his mother Bonnie (late Raymond) Falker; siblings Steven Bruning and Renee Swift (Donald Dianetti), along with several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Bruning.
