Lucas Lowe, a beloved figure in his Akron community, passed away on March 17, 2025. Born on August 18, 2003, Lucas was a beacon of courage and compassion, known for his funny wit and inspiring spirit. His laughter was contagious, his courage was evident, and his heart, enormous. Lucas was more than an Akron High School graduate and a dedicated meat wrapper at the local Pixley's Supermarket; he was a pillar of strength, an inspiration, and a source of joy to everyone he met.
Lucas was a huge Elvis Presley fan, often delighting those around him with his renditions of the King's greatest hits. His love for baseball and bowling was only surpassed by his devotion to his family and the Akron community. Despite his own courageous battle with cancer, Lucas always made time to give to others, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met. His commitment to his community was recognized when he was inducted into the Akron Fire Company, a role he embraced with enthusiasm.
Lucas was the beloved son of Maureen and Scott Warren, a cherished brother to Michele (Eric) Wild and Nicole Warren, and a proud uncle to Aidan, Cameron, Jacob, and Brayden. He was a loving grandson to Beatrice and Lawrence Carey, and Gus and Arlene Warren. Lucas' legacy will continue to live on in his loved ones and the many friends he made within his community.
A Celebration of Lucas' Life will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Akron Fire Company, 1 Main Street, Akron, NY 14001. His spirit will forever echo in the halls of the Akron Fire Company and in the hearts of those he touched. We invite all who knew Lucas to share their memories and photographs on the memorial page by visiting rossakron.com. By doing so, we can keep the spirit of this funny, inspiring, courageous, and compassionate young man alive, and celebrate the many ways he touched our lives.
