Lisa J. Hanson, born May 13, 1972, in Batavia, NY, passed away on May 12, 2024, just a day shy of her 52nd birthday. Lisa resided in Corfu, New York, where she led a life filled with creativity, compassion, and love for her family.
She spent her professional life serving others as a dedicated Nursing Assistant, a role she filled with unwavering commitment and care. Lisa was a deeply creative soul, finding joy and serenity in the strokes of her paintbrush. Her artwork was a testament to her vibrant spirit and vivid imagination. However, the true centerpiece of Lisa's life were her sons. Their happiness and well-being was her ultimate pursuit, their achievements her proudest moments.
Lisa is survived by her mother Dorothy Hanson, her children, Jeremy (Madison) Carrow, Jarrod (Jane) Carrow, Kyle (Sara) Smith, and Lainey Smith, and her siblings, Rob, Todd, and Kim Hanson. She leaves behind a legacy of love and care, remembered not just by her family, but also by her many nieces, nephews, and cherished grand dogs: Ghost, Honey, Blaze, Milo, Haley, and Chewy. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hanson.
A Celebration of Lisa's life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 at the Timberlodge at Arrowhead Golf Club, 12292 Clarence Center Road, Akron, New York, 14001. It will be a time to remember her life, her spirit, and the love she bestowed upon all of us. We encourage everyone who knew Lisa to leave memories and upload photos to the memorial page.
