Kervin Jonathan, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2020. He was born on July 28, 1933 to the late Ernest and Matilda (Sundown) Jonathan.
Kervin is a proud member and Sachem Chief of the Turtle Clan. He attended Akron Central School and went on to serve honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed lacrosse and cars and was an auto mechanic most of his working life. Kervin also worked at Stylecraft Homes for many years.
His beloved children, Marilyn (Albert Abrams) Jonathan, Maureen (Chester) Logan, Brenda Jonathan, Leon Jonathan, Deanna Jonathan, Don Jonathan, Darwin (Monica Webster) Jonathan, Kenneth (Nadine) Jonathan, Leland (Larue) Jonathan, Mahlon (Kim) Jonathan, Jacklyn (Late Bryan) Printup; a brother, Murphy Jonathan and a sister, Mary Holmes survive him. Kervin is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. His wife Evelyn (Ground) and a son, Kelvin (Goon) Jonathan predeceased him.
Family will be present at 218 Skye Road till the time of a Service at 1 PM on Sunday, July 5, 2020. A Long House Service will follow at 2 PM. Burial to follow at the Jonathan Family Plot.
