Kerry John McNamara

Kerry John McNamara passed away on July 28, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 20, 1967 to Evelyn (Moss) and the late Eugene J. McNamara.

John was a 1983 graduate of Bishop Timon High School and honorably served in the United States Army from 1983 - 1991. He then served in the Weekend Warriors National Guard until 1996 where he earned many awards as an accomplished rifleman. He worked as an electrical engineer for the ECMC Power Plant for many years and held many different certifications. He was very proud of his daughter Kaitlyn. John loved helping others unconditionally and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. John spent his days doing many of the things that he enjoyed most: grilling outside, remodeling, camping, traveling, crossword puzzles, bird watching, and star gazing. He especially loved playing with his dogs.

John is survived by the love of his life for 14 years, Judy Moore; his daughter, Kaitlyn McNamara; his sisters, Elizabeth (Dave) Wolf and Rebecca (Michael) Moore and his two nephews, Andrew and David Wolf. He also leaves behind his two Pugs, Pugman and Noel.
