Kathleen E. (Brooks) Berringer

Kathleen E. (Brooks) Berringer, a resident of Clarence, NY, born on July 9, 1944 in Buffalo, NY, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024. Kathleen, a retired cosmetologist, spent her professional career in the health and beauty industry, where she brought joy and beauty to many through her talented hands. 

Kathleen was a woman of many passions, but none so dear to her as her spiritual journey and her involvement with the healing arts. In her free time, she found peace and joy in creating beautiful glass bead jewelry, each piece a testament to her creativity and spirit. She was a beacon of light to all who knew her, and her memory will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. 

She is survived by her loving sons, Jim (Elizabeth) Brooks and Jeffrey Brooks, and her cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn and J.D. Brooks. Kathleen is also survived by her siblings, Robert (Sue), Marlene (Robert), Richard (Diane), Steve (Julie), Louise (Gregory), Ron, and Annie; as well as her many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rose Shatzel, and her husbands, James W. Brooks and Michael Berringer. 

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, 10950 Main St., Clarence, NY 14031 with a Funeral Luncheon immediately following at Carmine's Restaurant, 7170 Transit Rd. Williamsville, NY 14221.
