Katherine Laffosse

Katherine Maryanne Laffosse, passed away suddenly on September 2, 2023. She was born in Buffalo, New York on January 24, 1958 to the late James and Phyllis (Estes) Kron, Sr.

Kathy attended Akron Central High School and married the love of her life, Ismael Laffosse on July 22, 1978. They had three children, Carrie, Angel, and Ismael, and shared 44 wonderful years together until his death in 2022. Kathy enjoyed crafting and gaming in her spare time. Her loving and supportive nature combined with her unique sense of humor made her a cherished friend. She had the innate ability to brighten any room she entered and her laughter was contagious, making those around her feel truly special. Kathy valued her friendships as her greatest treasures. She will be greatly missed.

Loving mother of Carrie (Paul) Cooper, Angel (Isaac) Ware, and Ismael Laffosse; cherished grandmother of Matthew Cooper, Ryan Cooper, America Ware, Zuriela Ware, Joseph Laffosse, and Zachary Laffosse; dear sister of James Kron Jr., Charles Kron, Patricia Padden, and Thomas Kron. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kathy is predeceased by her parents and her beloved husband Ismael (Izzy) Laffosse, Jr.
