Karen Brown Obituary

Karen M. Brown of Basom, entered into rest on December 13, 2019. Loving wife of Clayton Brown; beloved mother of Jessica Brown, Bethany Brown, Jason (Andrea) Brown, Matt (Lisa) Brown, Heather Brown, and Megan Brown; and grandmother to Brie, Gianna, and Lucas.

She was born on April 12, 1972 in Batavia, New York to the late James Goeseke and Florence “Flo” (Piasecki) Goeseke, daughter in law to Gwen Brown. Karen is also survived by her sisters, Kristine (Vinnie) Fazio, Joanne (Bryson Taylor) Goeseke, Sister in law to Dawn Mazza and several nieces and nephews.

Karen was a 1990 graduate of Alden High School. She continued her education at Villa Maria College and married her husband Clayton Brown on May 24, 1997. She was a huge animal lover. Karen especially loved camping with family and friends and her camping family at Bide-a-Bit.

Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 10 to 11AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4809 S. Newstead Rd., Akron, NY 14001 where a service will take place promptly at 11AM.  Burial will be private.  Memorials may be made to Roswell Cancer Research.
