June A. Peters, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026. She was born on June 15, 1963 and was a beloved figure in her community. She was known for her warm demeanor and distinct laugh, which brought joy to all who had the privilege to hear it. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, and attending concerts, activities that she pursued with a contagious passion. But her greatest joy was the time she spent with the children she babysat, who she loved dearly.
June was a loving mother to Leiha Peters (Robert Van Pelt) and a proud grandma affectionately known as "Mama June" to her grandchildren Kitana Azzreya, Trinity Rynez, Quinten Jaquin, Kiora Malayna, Darko Dalorian, Robert, and Cheyenne Van Pelt. Her love for her family was immense and she took great pride in witnessing their growth and achievements. She was predeceased by her mother Elvira Gloria Peters and her brother, Emerson Webster, whose memory she held close.
