June (Fullington) Dombrowski

Our mother, June Fullington Dombrowski, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, at the age of 89.

She was born on May 17, 1937, in Buffalo, NY. 

She was the beloved mother of three children: Cheryl Matossian, Dean Dombrowski, and Denise (Kevin) Kipfer; grandmother to ten grandchildren; and great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren, all of whom deeply mourn her passing and miss her greatly.

June was a devoted parishioner of Church of the Annunciation in Elma, NY and St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Akron, NY. She dedicated much of her life to serving others. Her faith in God and her love for her family were the cornerstones of her life.

She volunteered with Kairos Prison Ministry, delivered Communion to the homebound, and generously supported friends and neighbors during their times of need.

A funeral mass will be held on July 18, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at Church of the Annunciation, 7580 Clinton St., Elma, NY. A luncheon will follow at Alden Christian Fellowship, 923 Two Rod Rd., Alden, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Kairos Prison Ministry.

June will be remembered for her kindness, her faith, and her unwavering devotion to family and friends. Her love touched many lives, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her.
