JoAnn M. Clark, 82, of Clarence Center, New York, passed away on March 7, 2024. She was born in Lockport, NY, on November 29, 1941, to the late Charles and Mary (Dawydko) Brauer.
JoAnn was a devoted wife to her loving husband, James Clark, with whom she shared 35 beautiful years. She lived a fulfilling life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her favorite role, however, was being a grandmother. The time spent with her grandkids was the highlight of her day, a testament to her loving and giving nature.
Beloved wife of James Clark; loving mother of Sue (Bobby) Massaro, Art (Cora) Taylor, Late Bob (Ann) Taylor; proud grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 11; dear sister of Diann (Steve) Kaminski and Richard (Helen) Brauer; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
JoAnn was a dedicated bookkeeper for J & I Disposal before her retirement. A member of the Rapids Seniors and the Wolcottsville Seniors, she was well-loved by her community. She dedicated forty plus years developing special friendships while serving the ladies of WNY by supplying them with Avon products and services. An avid Elvis fan, JoAnn also enjoyed playing slot machines and had a profound love for hummingbirds.
Calling hours will take place on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, located at 6379 Wolcottsville Road, Akron, NY, 14001, beginning at 3:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 5:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in JoAnn’s memory to St. Michael's Lutheran Church.
