Jean W. Davis

Jean W. Davis passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023. She was born on November 14, 1933, in Fort Erie, Ontario, a daughter to the late Norman and Laura (Carver) Winger.

Jean's life was a beautiful journey marked by faith, love, and kindness. She attended a Christian school in Fort Erie and met her soulmate, Alfred G. Davis, at the Clarence Center Brethren in Christ Church in Clarence Center, NY, and they wed on June 19, 1954. Their union was a beacon of enduring love and faith, illuminating the lives of their family and friends. 

Jean is survived by her children Garth (Ann) Davis, Keith (Kimberly) Davis, and Cynthia (Mark) Wanamaker; her cherished grandchildren Rachel (Pat) Gillespie, Donnie (Victoria) Davis, Ashley (Caleb) Kosiorek, Luke (Kayla) Wanamaker, Carolyn (Nate) Vilardo, and Brian (Rosalind) Davis; and her six great-grandchildren. Jean's sister, Bethene (Don) Fretz, along with several nieces and nephews, also survive her. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Alfred, and five siblings.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, from 5 to 8 PM at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC.
