Jean C. Davis

Davis, Jean C. passed away peacefully on February 16, 2020. She was born on June 3, 1929 to the late John and Florence (Kaditz) Cutter.

Jean Davis who loved to spread a heartfelt smile, to sing and dance, and to be the last to leave the party was always there for her big blended family. She and her loving husband, James G. Davis shared 15 children between them including Jean’s beloved children with her late husband, Joseph Coughlin: Susan (Pat) McCann, John (Mary) Coughlin, and Nancy (Brian) Banas along with James’ 12 children including the late Robert Davis, Jim (Mary) Davis, Glenn (Sandy) Davis, Mary Davis, Ed (Linda) Davis, Mike (Carol) Davis, Andy Davis, Bill (Rosanne) Davis, Patti (Charlie) Sperrazza, Barb (Brian) Rosati, Tim (Pam) Davis, and Debbie Davis.

She cherished and was adored by her grandchildren Ryan McCann, Andy McCann, Brian Banas, Eric Banas, Eric McGinnis, Jason McGinnis, Shawn McGinnis, Tricia Beeman, Joseph McGinnis, John Coughlin, and her many great-grandchildren. She loved all of her colleagues, neighbors, and friends, especially her lifelong friend, Joan McComas.

Friends and relatives may call on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 2-5 PM at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC  with a Service immediately following  at 5 PM.
