Janice Marie Cummings

Janice Marie Cummings, born May 18, 1946 in Newstead, NY, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025. Janice was a beacon of love, warmth, and strength to her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. Her life was one of service to her family, which she considered her greatest joy and accomplishment.

Janice was married to her beloved husband, Lester, for over 50 years. She was the loving mother of Jerold Cummings and Denise Adderly. She took immense pride and joy in her grandchildren, Blaize and Dain Adderly, and her great-granddaughter, Arwen Adderly. Janice was also the dear sister to Leslie (Marsha) Cummings, Larry (Diane) Cummings, Susan (late Mike) Ribbeck and Beverly (Tom) Berndt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Margaret Cummings, and her brothers, Leon and Milton Cummings.

Janice was well known for her culinary skills and her love for playing Bingo. She created a warm and inviting home where family and friends were always welcome. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did. Janice's legacy of love, strength, and dedication will live on through her family and those who knew her.
