James Walter Obituary

James Walter passed away peacefully on January 26, 2023 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. He was born in Buffalo, New York on March 8, 1945 to the late Edward and Gladys (Swarts) Walter.

He attended school in Alden New York and worked for many years as a foreman at Whiting Roll Up Door Company. He married Sheryl Leith in August of 1993, together they had four children and spent 30 wonderful years together. He had a great love for antique cars, especially his Ford Galaxie, but his greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren.

Loving husband of Sheryl Walter; beloved father of Janine (Christopher) Horn, Kirk (Melissa) Walter, Janine (Nicholas) Cerasani, and Kristal Maclin; proud papa of 13 grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Rosemarie Heiman, Cathy Fox, and a brother, Jerry Walter.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
