Irma M. Swiniarski, 98 of Akron, passed away peacefully at Buffalo Hospice on October 30, 2022. She was born in Buffalo, NY on July 14, 1924 to the late George and Carrie (Rieck) Herman.
Irma was a graduate of Sloan High School and a dedicated wife and mother. She was an avid Yankees fan and loved Polka Buzz. She especially enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casino when she was able.
Beloved mother of Dennis (Kim) Swiniarski; cherished grandmother of Michael Swiniarski. Irma is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Josephine Herman and Alice Helak as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Alfred Swiniarski, she was predeceased by a son, Donald Swiniarski in 2019, her brother, Richard Herman and her sisters, Florence (Joe) Krywczuk and Ester (Frank) Piwowar.
A private Graveside Service was held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at St. Matthew’s Cemetery Chapel.
