Harold J. Thomas

Harold J. Thomas, went home to be with his lord, on May 24, 2021. He was born in Bellwood, Pennsylvania, on February 2, 1933 to the late Millard and Viola (Keller) Thomas.

Harold served his country honorably in the United States Army. He worked for many years as a machinist at Excel Industries. He was a member of One Church in Akron and helped out as an usher whenever he was able. He was known as a tinkerer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Virginia; cherished father of Diana Thomas and James Thomas; proud grandfather of Kristin PeQueen, Michael Levandowski Jr., Kayla Thomas, Mya Thomas and Shanna Thomas; great grandfather of Ethan, Robbie, Rachael and Alex PeQueen; beloved brother of Darlene (Bob) Detwiler and Beverly Blackie.  

A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at One Church, 6 Scotland Rd., Akron, NY 14001.
