George R. Thomson

George R. Thomson passed away on October 19, 2023. Born on September 4, 1951, in Fukuoka-shi, Japan to the late George and Kiyoko Thomson.

He was a proud United States Marine from 1969 to 1971, a role he embraced with the utmost dedication and conviction. This fact remained central to his identity, a source of personal pride that radiated in his everyday interactions. He graduated from Clarence High School and devoted his life to construction work. His last employment was with William C. Rott in Tonawanda, NY, from where he retired. In his leisure, George found tranquility in the simple pleasure of fishing.

George is survived by several good friends who will undoubtedly miss his warm presence. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Kiyoko Thomson. A private burial will be held in the WNY National Cemetery in Corfu, NY honoring George's wishes.
