George V. Miller of Akron, NY was born in Buffalo, NY on December 13, 1938. He passed away on December 19, 2025 just after celebrating his 87th birthday.
George honorably served in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Korea as a flight mechanic from 1956 to 1962. He retired as a Parts Department Manager from Heavy Duty Parts and spent the remaining years with his wife "Irish" until her passing in 2007. George and Carol vacationed in the Adirondacks, travelled and went to flea markets. George took pride in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren attending their many events. His love for them was constant and unwavering, and his presence will forever be felt in their lives. George's legacy lives on through his family. He will be deeply missed.
He was the father to Mary (Larry) Duckworth, Mikie, (Michael) Phillips, Nancy Boring, and Sandy Brodziak. He was the beloved grandfather to Michelle (Nick) Henderson, Sara (CJ) Phillips, Jennifer (Dan) Kirkum, John (Emily) Phillips, Aric (Jennifer) Reeve, Nicole (Michael) Beecken, Megan (Matt) Boring, and Mike (Haley) Boring. George was a proud great-grandfather to 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol (Harrington) Miller.
