Gary Maloney

Gary Maloney passed away on February 28, 2021 after a short illness. He was born in Buffalo, NY on August 20, 1965 to Virginia (Gorecki) and the late Daniel Maloney.

Gary was a 1983 graduate of Akron Central High School. He and his wife Leann (Lynch) were married on August 20, 1988 and were the proud parents of three children. Gary most recently worked for the New York State Department of Transportation as a bridge supervisor. In his spare time, Gary enjoyed carpentry work, camping, trap shooting, hunting, and fishing. His family often referred to him as a jack - of - all - trades.

Loving husband of Leann (Lynch) Maloney; beloved father of Wendy Maloney, Christine Maloney, and Daniel Maloney; devoted son of Virginia Maloney; cherished brother of Elaine Frey, Frank (Denise) Maloney, and Daniel (Lisa) Maloney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives may call from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC. where a Funeral Service will take place at 7 pm.
