Doris I. Brewer

Doris I. Brewer, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Absolut Care in Gasport, NY on July 26, 2022, She was born in Buffalo, NY on May 19, 1935 to William and Lola (Casper) Lutz.

Doris was a 1953 graduate of Bennett High School. She married Roger Brewer in 1961. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, hooking, and taking care of her family.

Loving wife of Roger Brewer, beloved mother of Roger (Susan) Brewer; cherished grandmother of Matthew (Alex) Brewer and Mallory Brewer; proud great grandmother of Cameron and Lucas. Doris is also survived by a sister, Susan (late Robert) Miniszewski and several nieces and nephews. Doris is predeceased by a sister, Joan Campbell and three brothers, Will Lutz, Dick Lutz, and David Lutz.

Friends and relatives may call on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 4-7 PM at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC., 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY 14001 where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Doris’ name to The Alzheimer’s Association Western New York, 6215 Sheridan Drive, #100, Buffalo, New York 14221.
