Dave Manning

David Manning, of Akron, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2022. He was born in Olean, NY on May 5, 1937 to the late Ruth Manning.

Dave was a 1956 graduate of Machias Pioneer High School. He married Ester Mae in 1986 and they remained happily married until her death in 2009. Dave worked as a millworker for Akron Rule from 1978 until 2005. He was a huge car enthusiast and loved collecting model cars and trucks. He especially enjoyed attending car shows and participating in many activities at the Akron Newstead Senior Center. Dave made friends easily wherever he went. His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be greatly missed.

Dave is survived by many caring friends especially Beth Sindo.  

Friends and relatives may call on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM with an 8:00 PM Funeral Service immediately following at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC., 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY 14001.
