Daryl Mazza Obituary

Daryl John Mazza, born in Lockport, NY on October 23, 1966 passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. A lifelong resident of Akron, NY, Daryl was a man who was known for his humor, wit and steadfast loyalty to those he loved.

Daryl attended Akron High School, graduating in 1984, before attending Middle Tennessee State University for three years, where he pursued his passion for audio recording.  He was the co-owner of Rambo Roofing, a successful partnership he developed with his longtime friend, Jim Jendrowski.  His profession as a roofer in the construction business was a testament to his hard work and dedication.  Daryl was a man of many interests; he loved playing hockey, skiing, golfing and riding motorcycles.  His love for music and movies was unparalleled and he never missed an opportunity to watch his nephews play sports.

Survivors include his brother, Dale Mazza, and nephews, Jacob and Joshua Mazza.  Daryl also leaves behind his Aunt Jennie Martino, many loving cousins and numerous cherished friends.  He is predeceased by his parents, Sebastian “Sugar” Mazza and Shirley (Mietz) Mazza.

Daryl was a man who was genuine, kind hearted and loved by so many.
