It is with a mix of sorrow and appreciation for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Darryl Reuben, born on the 21st of March, 1952 in Batavia, New York, who passed away on the 1st of January, 2024.
Darryl was an admirable figure, a stronghold in his family, and a well-loved member of his community. He was a man of extraordinary strength, both physically and mentally, having spent a significant part of his life driving trucks for Fisher Price. His love for the road was only rivaled by his love for the Raiders, his favorite football team. Darryl was a proud member of the Turtle Clan, his involvement reflecting his deep-rooted respect and commitment to his cultural heritage.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra Reuben; his children MacDonald "Sonny" (Rebecca) Reuben, Alissa Jean (Adam Helsdon) Reuben, and Amanda Marie (Brandon Gatta) Reuben; his siblings Darlene Jonathan, Craig (Bren) Reuben, Lori Reuben, band Joyce Reuben and sister in law Penny Reuben. His legacy also lives on in his eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who will continue to honor his memory by carrying forward the values he cherished. Darryl was preceded in death by his parents, MacDonald Reuben and Betty Hill, his son Travis Reuben, his siblings Faron Reuben, Brandon Reuben, and brother-in-law John Jonathan.
Friends and Family may gather at the family residence, 7268 Parker Road, Basom, NY from Wednesday, January 3, 2024 until the time of service on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
We invite you to share your favorite memories of Darryl on his memorial page. These shared moments offer comfort and act as a reminder of the love that surrounds us even in times of sorrow. They also serve as a tribute to Darryl, a man who touched and enriched the lives of many.
