D. Howard Johnt

D. Howard Johnt 3/30/59-5/18/23 

Passed away at home with family at the age of 64; joining his mother Nancy Johnt, in Heaven. 

Surviving Family: father, Charles H. Johnt; loving wife, Christine R. Johnt; son, Clayton H. Johnt, daughter, Courtney E. Johnt; sister, Sarah J. Maloney and husband, David, sister, Darcy J. Gehen and husband, Bill; several nieces and nephews.

Howard was an avid outdoorsmen, devoted husband, father, and son. He was a licensed fishing boat captain and owner of Olcott Charter Services with his father Howie and now wife, Christine. Howard and Christine moved to Wolcottsville, NY to start a family farm together. They raised two beautiful children, son, Clayton (27), and daughter, Courtney (22). Howard wore many hats throughout the years and touched many different people's lives. He spent many years with WESTNY Pella Windows and Doors where he worked his way up from truck driver to a sales position that he excelled at. In 1999 he was awarded the Presidents Club Sales Award. He was proud of his most recent position as Operations Manager at Weatherpanel of Buffalo. He was loved and respected by so many, a true man's man. He will be missed dearly, and the world is a lesser place without him. 

Visiting hours will be at Ross Funeral Home in Akron on Friday, May 26th from 3-7pm.
