Cynthia A. Stahl (nee Moyer) passed away on April 19, 2026. Born on December 6, 1943, Cynthia was a woman of many talents - retired after 30 years at GM/Delphi, she was one of the first woman Model Makers, from creating celebration cakes to the big meal productions, she was known for, she always committed to each task wholeheartedly. Her hobbies were a testament to her love for life and her ceaseless energy. Cynthia also found joy in gardening and planting flowers, and her open-door policy at her home was a testament to her welcoming and loving nature.
Cynthia was a true 'roadrunner', always on the move and with a great love for travel. She was a people person, connecting with many people throughout her life. She was a beacon of support and love, always willing to do everything she could to provide for others. She was an active volunteer at her church, and served on the board of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. In her youth, she was a talented baton twirler.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ruth (Wheeler) Moyer, and the beloved wife of the late Charles "Junie" Stahl and the dear mother of Steven Gothard, Amy Gothard, Karen Gothard, Sheila (Paul) Harrell, and Kathleen Oates-Bowen.She also leaves behind several step-children, whom she loved seeing at family cerebrations. As a loving Gram and GiGi, she brought joy to many cherished grand and great-grandchildren. Cynthia will be greatly missed by her many good friends.
Friends and family may call on Friday, April 24th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6369 Wolcottsville Rd. Akron, NY 14001. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm. Donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Wolcottsville Sportsman's Club. We invite you to leave memories and upload photos of Cynthia to her memorial page.
