Clark W. Gadd, went home to be with his Lord on January 21, 2022. He was born in Buffalo, NY on September 5, 1955 to the late William and Joan (Clark) Gadd.
Clark was a 1974 graduate of Alden Central High School. He then went on to continue his education at Syracuse University with a degree in music education. He recently retired from Acosta Marketing in 2018. Clark played guitar in many local bands like Black Gold and Union Transfer. He also played the trumpet in both the Corfu and Akron Community Bands. He loved photography and animals and especially enjoyed talking with people from all over the world on his short-wave radio.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 38 years Janice (Hopkins) Gadd. Clark is also survived by his father-in-law Robert Hopkins; a sister-in-law, Annette Hopkins; and brothers-in-law, Ray (Debbie) Hopkins, late Michael (Kathleen) Hopkins, and Alan (Denise) Hopkins as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives may call on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 4 - 7 PM at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC., 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY 14001. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January, 26 , 2022 at 10 AM at St. Teresa’s Church, 5771 Buell Street Akron, New York (please assemble at church). Charitable contributions may be made in Clark's name to an Animal Rescue of one's choice.
